My favorite movie is “Life is beautiful”. It is an Italian movie. It’s a story in the wartime, but it is also comedy. The major themes of this movie are love of family and cruelty of the war. An Italian father and son are taken away forcibly to a concentration camp. The son feels anxious that he cannot see his mother.
The father tells a lie for son. He says, “This is a game. You will lose some points, if you cry or want to see mom. If you are a good boy, you will get points. When you get 1000 point, you are a winner.”
I was moved by the lie of the father. I think the father’s love for son is so beautiful.
